I am researching quite a few high end scopes to purchase one in a couple months. One of my criteria is somewhere on the reticle having fine mils to learn more accurate ranging...0.1 desirable might do 0.2 but not ideal. Does this reticle have any fine demarcation for ranging like that? All I can find is fairly generic images...this may rule out a couple companies and narrow my list down a bit.

I am sure i will start other question threads before finally buying but right now considering 5-25ish scopes including minox zp, razor hd 2 or mag, uso, sb pm2, tangent theta (probably too much jump in price and hence question above)

I have this reticle in a Premier and I like it. Not super busy and can be used to hold for elevation and wind with the markings. Doesn't have the .1 measuring increments that you're looking for and I'm ok with that. Less is more in the sense that I don't have a cluttered reticle.

The couple times a year that I range with my reticle, I screw up my distance as much as the next guy. Ranging with a reticle has it's limitations at distance and with mirage.

I have it on my S&B 5-25 and I think it is one of the nicest reticles on the market.

As Brutus points out, it doesn't have the 0.1 mil gradations that you want but I never have found it to be a limitation. IMHO, it has everything you need and nothing you don't. That is the inherent beauty...its simplicity

Thank you, may have to go see...I am considering both tree and not. But yeah I don't want too much clutter. Just like things like vortex's where they put a fine scale off at the edge or the mr4 or msr where there is a scale just out of the way a bit. It's mainly for learning do ok with the 0.5 mil but starts getting harder farther out. Not completely decided just trying to narrow my research a bit.
