Gentry 3 Position Safety for the Rem 700

Anyone have any experience with this aftermarket Part. It replaces the Standard Remington Bolt Shroud for a Winchester 70 style shroud with a wing 3-position safety.

I know, Why?

I like the idea of a Bolt Lock Safety and the ability to remove the bolt while the rifle is still on safe for my Hunting rifle. I recently purchased a Rem 700 in 300WSM for a backcountry hunting rifle and am curious about this shroud.

IMO it's not worth it to be able to lock the bolt from being lifted.

Mines either cocked or not.

No issues with removing the bolt on my 700 with the safety on.

The Gentry unit does just fine. I did one on a Surgeon a while back because every other rifle I had used a 3 position safety. I thought about setting up a 3 position for my Badger, and then putting Gentry's on the 2 remaining without them.
