Yes! I love Elmore Leonard, Get Shorty is really great. Be Cool (the sequel) is not nearly as good, but worth seeing for The Rock and Vince Vaughn.

Just watched Be Cool a couple of nights ago and with greatest respect to LaserEdge, I think it is one of those rare sequels that is just as good as the first one. I hate Vince Vaughn, but his burning man impression was priceless! So many great twists and cameos in that movie!

Elmore Leonard has a gift for script-writing and plot twists. His masterpiece, in many ways, was the series Justified.

I enjoyed both movies and believe they’re worth watching again. Chili Palmer is without a doubt my favorite Travolta character.

Both good flicks, but Be Cool is not as good as Get Shorty. As sirmechanic said, I dislike Vince Vaughn as well. My feelings go all the way back to 03 for him.

I don't think I've ever popped into this forum, but damn, I didn't know there even was a sequel. I'm looking this up tonight to see if it shows up on one of the 8 streaming services we pay for and never use.
