Gunsmithing Getting ready to rebarrel. Couple questions ??

I've got a 700 in 7mag I'm getting ready to rebarrel. My plan is to send the barreled action to RW Snyder here on the hide. I'll have him true the action, put on a Brux barrel and a finish. I'm going to be shooting Winchester brass with the 162 Amax. I'm planning on neck turning. I've got a few questions.

1.) What should I tell him to do with the chamber? Or should I load a couple rounds without powder/primer and send in with the action?

2.) The barrel and finish? Cerakote a SS barrel or Melonite a CM barrel?
(CM & Melonite = $410 -- SS & Cerakote = $475)

3.) Can you shoot HBN coated bullets with a melonited barrel? I can't find any info on this. I've read a lot of good things on both but nothing about the two combined.

I'm sure theres some other stuff I need to consider. If you can think of anything let me know.

Call and talk to him. You might save reamer cost and the wait by making a simple adjustment to your plan.

Thanks. Ya, I plan on calling and talking to him before hand. Just wanted to have as much information as possible so I know what to ask him about.
