My breathing was haphazard, my pulse erratic, and my shots all over the place, but dad-gummit I had fun. Took delivery of a beautiful 6.5 from racegunner, on this site, and spent the morning re-zeroing the rifle and trying to put together all that I’ve read on this site about position, breathing, trigger squeeze and realize that I have years and rounds to go..

Thanks all for the information and keep the insights comin...

I’m very lucky to have access to a buddy’s ranch where we can extend out to shoot quite a ways which we’ll do on the weekends. Dry fire and 100 yard gun range during the week, around home, will have to do.

Today’s shooting showed me how much work I have to do to firm the position of the rear bag and I can see where follow through makes a world of difference on accuracy.

Man I hope so. With today’s results in the books, I’m thinking the 100 yard target and dry fire will allow me the baby steps needed to get me up to speed, given quality and focused effort follows.
