On the rare chance you ever come across a Vostok buy it.
remove the apeture sight, have it drilled and tapped for a scope you will not be sorry, these things can shooooooot.

This is as close as I get to golf,
I wouldnt know a good ball from a bad one,
I just shoot em at 100yards and let the dog go get em for me.

Hahaha..no Thats an inside joke between me and my daughter, Who was hell bent on tryin to enter her in a dog show.
(you know how little girls and animals are.)I told her sometimes a dog is a dog and the only thing they should be certified to do is chase balls and ride in the truck.

Re: Getting the twins ready for the match

Mostly the ones you come across on the internet these days are Vostok CM-2 which a were a mass produced target rifle,
The Vostok Ural 1. 2. and 3 MODELS were of better quality and were used as olympic training rifles.
Anyway... If you ever come across them they are almost always beat up or broken.
But with a little TLC you can bring them back to life and put em up against any Anshultz.
