Rifle Scopes Glass Suggestion for 16" AR15

I have a DD m4v9 16" which I was going to use as my all around gun until I purchased a geissele 11.5" pistol. I am setting up the geissele as a home defense gun red dot/suppressor/surefire light.

I am going to put a light on my DD but plan to use it for range plinking. Between an Elcan, acog, 1-10 razor or 1-8 NF which would be the best option? I am thinking I won't be past 300 yards. Should I just keep my patrol optic on it and use a magnifier?

I sure like a 1-6 or 1-8 or something similar on a gun for use past 100 yds. You don’t give up much for close range speed and you are much better off on longer shots with some mag.
