any one else having brass bulge -visible to naked eye- with g4 glock 10mm ?
I assume a new barrel is the only fix
which aftermarket barrel has a fully supported chamber ?

None are truely fully supported, but a KKM drop in has a tighter chamber than factory Glock barrels, the bulge doesn't concern me at all with my Glock 35

chamber on the G20 and G29 factory barrels is shall we say very loose AND unsupported at the sight of the feed ramp. It's a horrible barrel to use if your a reloader. that's just the fact. sorry.

used to say lone wolf but the newer ones don't have the full support anymore. Infact it's worse than having a glock barrel because the whole chamber is tight (good) but the feed ramp is hogged out now so there isn't support at the case web. SOO all the pressure flows to that spot and produces a very pronounced almost pot belly like bulge. Is that every lone wolf...no. but the new ones I bought did just that. So if you can find and one?

kkm is good to great
barsto is great

storm lake super full support but everything is soooooo tight it can take some work to get them to feed.

how do I know? I've owned at least 4 of each (yes I said at least 4) in all 4 makers.

I run all my 40sw brass through a Lee Bulge Buster, samething as a Redding Carbide GRX but 1/3 the price, no more Glocked brass after that, don't throw away brass, resize it with the correct tool.

I have a gen 3 Glock 20....I load some pretty warm stuff in the factory barrel with no issues so far. Its my first Glock and was worried about the bulge but even top end loads isn't producing a bulge that is noticeable without a micrometer.....maybe I'm lucky?

Can you explain that comment^^^
You are cold working a section of brass that has been plastically deformed from a pressure spike. When you smooth out the bump by running it through the bulge buster you force the case to lengthen, which will reduces the wall thickness where the bulge used to be. Also, there will also be defects in the lattice microstructure making that section of brass much more brittle and susceptible to catostrophic failure. If you subject the case to another high pressure spike, the area of case with reduced thickness could fail, sending the pressure back towards the shooter instead of out the barrel.

If the case is just a little too big near the head to stick into a headspace gauge (i.e., not visible or barely visible to the naked eye) then the EGW undersize die or the bulge buster are good options because you're not working the brass so much that you need to worry about sections of the case that are too thinned out to contain the pressure. If you get cases with the 3rd trimester pregnant lady bulge, it's best just to toss them in garbage ... a few cents isn't worth destroying your gun and (maybe) sending you to the hospital.

any one else having brass bulge - *** [W]hich aftermarket barrel has a fully supported chamber ?

"Support" varies w/ the aftermarket maker. You may have to try out one or two barrels before finding one that works in your gun.

For my G20 with very hot handloads, I use the LWD stock length (4.6") barrel. Reliability has been excellent - no FTF, FTE, etc. That was after trying and returning to Brownells a KKM (chamber was too tight or out-of-spec) and a Bar-Sto (same problem). I've got no time or patience now for aftermarket stuff that doesn't run from the git.

On the other hand, in my G29 with similarly hot reloads I'm running a Bar-Sto stock length tube (3.8"). This I got about 10yrs ago when I had more time and patience but it had to be handfitted, along with polishing the ramp and reaming the chamber a bit and polishing it. There's not been one problem since then. It's super accurate for a 3.8" barrel as well as properly supported, and I've run stupidly near-nuclear loads thru it. I should add that in both guns I'm running Wolff or ISMI XP recoil springs, which tame recoil significantly.

When EDC-ing either gun, I carry it loaded with my factory ammo of choice and, of course, use the stock factory barrels. The EDC ammo has been previously vetted & sighted-in using those barrels.
