i have a glock 22 that i ordered a storm lake 357 sig barrel for and i was looking at there 9mm conversion barrels. I also was looking at lone wolf, and i noticed the lone wolfs are quite a bit cheaper.. didn't know if anyone had any say about either company and there luck with the conversion barrels??

thanks

Re: glock conversion barrels?

i saw on there website they were saying that there conversion barrels would not work with certain ammo and on the storm lake barrel it didn't have anything about not running all ammo... just trying to justify the extra cost..

Re: glock conversion barrels?

I have a 40 conversion barrel for my G20 from LoneWolf. I was having issues with it feeding TC bast bullets adn TC plated bullets. I called and their armorer, Dan Shephard, took the time to call me and discuss what I'd done to try and fix the issue. He ended up polishing thte chamber and feed ramp for me and sending it back. No more issues.

It now shoots very well and I'd go back to them with no hesitation.

Re: glock conversion barrels?

thanks for the input, I love my storm lake barrel, could be just me but i shoot better with it, it does feel a little heavier.. I went ahead and ordered the glock 22 9mm conversion from lone wolf, figured ide give them a try since there cheaper. we'll see what happens

Re: glock conversion barrels?

Great people to deal with...any problems just let them know and they will fix you right up. The certain ammo thing is because they have a slightly tighter match type chamber. If it does'nt want to feed the ammo you are using they will open the chamber up to Glock specs no charge. If this is the case you are better to switch ammo...only the really $hitty stuff wont work right.

The 1 thou oversize (by design) cast/plated bullets short chamber with the tighter chamber.
