I get the feeling I don’t have as many primers left as I thought... son of a gun. Just opened the box...

Send a few thousand to me I will test them for you with no charge for my evaluation and send you back the
fired cups for your inspection.

Dont know about now but older Winchester standard were red and mag were green.

OK. Sorry I had to question your post. I have found that even in the same brand that different primers may be distinguishable from one another (like LR vs LP) by the color/appearance of the anvil and compound. I have at times found stray primers under my Dillon or on the floor and been able to successfully determine the type. Otherwise the color/appearance (from the factory) has no bearing on the performance.

Nah, no worries. I hadn't had a Federal primer in hand since...2016? I think those were 210M back when. Been loading a bunch of CCI 200 and 250, and those are all clean. I just opened the box and thought "Shit, one too many trips in and out of storage..."

Now, I gotta get back to weight sorting these so I can mail them to @whatsupdoc . Although, he might be down the street from me, so maybe I save on postage.
