Thats a bold move with no small amount of assache on your part.
I was going to switch to them last spring.
When I did the numbers I realized I would likely only save about $50=$100 (house, two cars, Motorcycle) and they dont do motorcycles so Id have to have a second insurer.
I hope more follow your example.

Just had someone sideswipe the entire drivers side of the family Honda Pilot. Other party was also insured by Sentry.
Just got my car back from Honda last week appears good as new and so far no money out of my pocket.

I canceled my NFL Ticket with Direct TV
Interesting, I had USAA insure my motorcycle (when I had it) without any issues. Maybe the state you're in affects this?
As to the OP, I'd bet USAA is probably looking to pull sponsorship. A LOT (read: Most) of the their clients are former or active duty military, as are their employees...
Probably due to my state, they regulate everything here.

My cable provider is withdrawing from providing TV programming in the next month or so. They are recommending DirecTV. That's not gonna be an option in my house.
