Friend of mine was attacked by Ontario man at kid rock concert. Jason McNeil is the victim and has been in coma for 4 days. Jason wouldn't ever bother anybody. There saying it's a case of mistaken identity. The person who committed this act has been charged with 3rd degree assault and released. Jason may not make it, it doesn't look good. He has 2 young daughters as well as a loving wife. Prayers are needed while they go thru this horrible time. Thanks, mark!

Yea, it's just a bad deal, I try to stay away from events like that but hey, there's nothing wrong with it. When he first came here from New York we used to bird hunt together as he didn't really know anybody except his uncle. He's a good guy with a big heart and I know he didn't cause that. It was a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Maybe the truth will come forth and Jason will come out of it. I know me and his family appreciate your prayers .
Yea, he's opened his eyes and responded a little over the last couple of days. Took him off ventilater couple days ago. Talked to his uncle this morning and said he's still considered in coma but the docs seem to be pleased with things at this point. He had a ton of damage to his brain so if and when he wakes they don't know how he'll be. Thanks for the prayers guys!
Such a terrible thing. Not to get into gory details but all this damage from one punch? Did your friend fall badly as well?

As I understand he was punched in the temple and he unconsciously fell and hit the back of his head. He had substantial injuries from both. There are things out there saying McNeil . Jason pushed the other guys wife. Also that security had separated the two on the inside and they met back up outside. Don't know but I suspect one or both probably were drunk. I know if I were at a kid rock concert I would have been wasted before I went. Just adding humor here, I hope the truth will come out for what actually happened.
