Good gun/gear stores in Vegas?

Hey guys, going to vegas here in a week and a half. Was wondering if there were any good fully stocked gear/gun stores worth checking out. I'm mostly interested in being able to check out a bunch of gear that I can't get access to locally. Would like to be able to see maxpedition/eberlastock(sp)/etc type packs and gear. Would really help to be able to see and try some stuff in person before making the purchases!

I'm also wondering if Front Site lets you come out and take a tour of their facilities? I really can't afford their memberships but might be able to work in a single class or two on future excursions out there. I would like to check the place out though!

Anything else shooting type related stuff to check out would be handy to know as well. I won't be bringing any guns with me to shoot, but looking for some places to visit!

Was just there.

I thought American Shooter over on the E. side was pretty well stocked. P-mags were 11.00/ea.
Nice selection of rifles, pistols and optics.
They have an indoor range if you want to launch a few...



"The Gun Shop" over off tropicana rents full-auto's/select-fire which is fun if you want to rock n roll.





Vegas is kinda quirky with respect to firearms. Have to be aware of where you are in the city if you're carrying concealed.
Different laws depending on where you're at. I think it was N. Vegas with the most restrictions.

Front Site is about an hour away for vegas. ist near the whore houses. Im sure they would give you a tour.

Thanks for the tips so far fellas!

I've done the full auto deal at the gun shop a few years back and yea that was a blast! At the time I wasn't really into gear and stuff so I don't recall how well it was setup.

Are the places you guys mentioned stocked up well on gear and packs?? $11 pmags sound good lol!

I won't be taking my CCW with me, so no worries there.

Keep the suggestions coming if you got them!!

Check out New Frontier Armory up on the north side and Lock-N-Load/HDI in Henderson. Both have a good set up and lots of gear. American Shooters on Arvile is a really nice store as well. All have really good people working there.

I avoid Discount Firearms like the plague. The inventory sucks and the counter folks are complete douche-nozzles. The Gun Store and Citadel are close 2nds for douche-nozzlery.

I vote for New Frontier Armory also even though I've never been in there personally...

The owner let me come to his house and assemble my AR upper as I didn't have the tools to do so. Plus it's staffed by a bunch of friends.

Shame I PCS'ed before the store opened up.

I have also been here in Vegas for the last week and a half on Det with the Navy. I went to Frontier and the Citadel, Frontier is great the Citadel is a bunch of DOUCH BAGS.

swarrick, douche bags aside how was the gear/pack selection?? That's what I am really after, just to be able to see the sizes and try out some maxped/EB etc packs to see what I really want! Internet pictures suck for that kind of thing.

Unfortunately I am very well versed in putting up with the douche-baggery at all the local haunts. None around here that I have found stock the type of gear I want to get my hands on though!

I did not take a close look at there packs but there were some there on the wall. They have alot of STUFF, safes, mre's, world is ending crap, nic nacs and so on. Once I saw the counter sniper scopes I was done, other than the AICS stocks on the wall nothing there that I needed. I leave in the morning other wise I would go back over there and get some specs for you.
