Gunsmithing Good heat resistant tape

Ive been doing a lot of KG baking lately, and am getting sick of removing masking tape with a razor since after baking it turns to paper baked on metal.

I used to work at a custom bike shop and we had this translucent green tape we used for taping off parts going to powdercoat. This is what Im looking for, but dont remember where we got it.

Any suggestions?

Try a Sherwin Williams or PPG automotive paint supplier.

The reps are pretty sharp generally.

Shercon. Manufacturer/supplier in CA, good products. You want their green tape.

I use Kapton tape.
