Sidearms & Scatterguns Good holster for Glock 17L

Picking up a new Glock 17L next week and I'll need a decent holster for it. For 3-gun, I use the Open-Top Safariland ALS holsters for my G35 and G17. I know the holster for the 35 will work, and the muzzle will just stick out a bit. But I'm looking for something comparable that protects the muzzle and front sight fiber-optic rod.

I'm looking for other suggestions for holsters that are smooth on the draw and offer some retention. No Joy in losing your handgun while running on a stage. Hasn't happened, and I don't plan on it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

I got a Comp-Tac for my G35, its fast and retains well if the screws are adjusted, I also have a KKM 40-9 conversion barrel, and its a hammer with 124's, and 100% reliable, something to consider instead of buying another pistol.

As I've already purchased the 17L, I think it's a little late to reconsider... My G35 is well suited to shooting competition and I too use a 40-9 conversion barrel. I figure the 17L will give me the added benefit of the extended sight radius and my 35 can be used as strictly a limited gun.
