I am building a new deer rifle off of a Savage long action that I have, and am wanting to use a laminate stock, but all I can find are thumbhole stocks and I don't want that. I would also like to use a varmint contour barrel, which also seems to be an issue. I am not looking to turn this into a $500-600 deal, but want something that will be nice. What are your recommendations?
