I am finishing up a 6.5 Grendel AR that I am gonna use for coyote hunting. I am trying to keep the weight down in the 6#-7# range and I need a Optic. I picked up a used Gen1 PST/FFP 2.5-10x32 and I really like it (but it's on another rifle). I am looking for another PST but wondering if there's any other good options with the same features. FFP. 2ish-10ish power. Illum. Fairly lightweight.... I paid $450 for my last one (and it was brand new). I am starting to realize how lucky I got on that one since they are quite hard to find good deals on. Hoping to stay around $500. Any suggestions?

Agreed that the 2.5-10 PST is a great scope. A little more $ but also very good would be the NF SHV 3-10 sfp, or maybe for less coin, a Nikon M223 3-12 (also sfp). If you must have ffp, I would personally try to save up a little more $ and spring for either a Bushnell LRHS, or an F1 NF SHV 4-14x50.... Either would be tits on a 6.5G IMHO.

I've used Leupold 3.5-10x40 M3 on mine, but switched to LRHS 3-12 and couldn't be happier. It's more $$ and weight, but the features and circle of death are well worth it to me.
I also use Leupold 1-6 on 11.5" Grendel SBR
