Just finished reading an excellent book by Ed Macy called Apache, about British Apache ops in Afghanistan. https://www.amazon.com/Apache-Inside-Cockpit-Fighting-Machine/dp/0802144780

He also wrote an earlier book called Hellfire about his earlier tour in Afghanistan. Had trouble putting both books down once I started reading.

Ed Darack-Victory Point: Operation Red Wings and Whalers, or The Final Mission of Extortion 17 for fiction. Non fiction Matthew Bracken is an amazing author for Enemies Foreign and Domestic among his other 4 novels for non fiction.
