Google earth upgrades

I have the regular{free} google earth download. Sometimes I get emails to upgrade for a fee. Always wondered if this is worth it. Anybody outthere that has the upgraded versions? Are they worth it? I usually use mine for off roading, camping and ranging for shoots.

Depends on what you are doing. I actually use the many features and bought the successively more expensive versions. But hey... you have to figure our what the next level does and decide...


It is a great tool and most people just do the free stuff. Developing real apps requires more tools.

Do you get map coverage and detail you don't get on Google Maps?
