Brown came with the goods. I like it and must say I'm impressed with the layout and such. Can't wait to get out and use it.

Hehehe, yeah. 400 lumen dethray. I've had it a couple years, when I bought it there wasn't much else that would throw the light I wanted for the price I paid, a friend made it for me.

I have a Fenix TK-11 that will go on there one of these days instead but for now this works great for when the coyotes start howlin in my field in the middle of the night. Lights them all up so I can pick and choose.

Not a whole lot to it. Started life as a 3C maglite. A friend machined rings into the body to accept standard 30mm rings to mount it and then did some kind of electronic circuit work in it to make a Cree LED work. Has a reflector specific to the LED and a glass lens instead of plastic. Machined some heatsinks into it and such. Not real sure exactly, just know its 400 lumen and runs on standard C cell batteries with plenty of light.

Yeah, GS2 in OD.

And I know, the flashlight is big, etc. etc. But it is not too heavy or awkward. In all honesty, the rifle rarely leaves the house with the light on it. I just leave the light on there because it is my bedside rifle and living on 15 acres I never know where I will need the light to shine in the middle of the night so this one does the trick.
