Well I got my order in today for a GAP-10 in 6.5 Creedmoor 22" barrel. the add on's are a PRS stock, and badger thruster break. Now the long wait begins. 10 months is a lot of time to wait but gives me time to figure out what scope I'm go0ting to put on it. any recommendations I want to stay under $2,000 on a scope. I was looking at the Bushnell hdmr with the g2 reticle.

I think you have a good idea... Bushnell ERS or XRS is a lot of bang for the buck and well within your price range-- you can get a brand new XRS for just over $1700 from a certain Hide vendor.

For under $2K new the Vortex Razor HD or Bushnell ERS/XRS are probably my favorites in the $1500-2000 range provided you're an FFP fan.

The ERS/XRS will fit perfectly in the Badger mount provided with the GAP10; also, a 1.18" high Spuhr works well on a GAP10. I had/have an S&B 5-25 in a 31 MOA / 1.18" high Spuhr on my 6.5CM GAP10. It cleared... barely.

It took a little over 8 months for my 6.5CM GAP10 to arrive...

I wasn't waiting for a GAP-10 but I was waiting just the same. This is what I did to pass the time.

I learned that the rifle itself was a lot cheaper than I realized. Its everything else that makes the sucking sound.

+1

Less a few minor differences, this is nearly the same pile-o-stuff I have on my basement floor waiting for the rifle to arrive. Also, I was shocked at how inexpensive my rifle was, and how expensive the pile-o-stuff was.
