Thought a few members would like to see some work done by Mile High Shooting. I have no affiliation with the group, and this was my first business experience. Stacey with MH did my quotes, all within minuets, and I received regular email updates about the work (which I did not expect and enjoyed). MH did the work very quickly, and as you can see professionally. I will use them again.

Only complaint, and a VERY minor one at that, is for them to inform a silencer buyer up front they want paper copy of FFL/SOT. Maybe make it part of the quote document since it is a point of emphasis for them. I have no issues with request, but in my case caused me to loose time and make special trip. This isn't my first rodeo on silencers as my posts show, and I haven't provided hard copy's until now. No big deal, but good to know up front.

Summary of work done:

Ruger MKII Competition the front sight was moved to the rear, and the barrel threaded. They made the thread protector, and I elected to not have the thread protector slab sided to match barrel. In hind sight, that would have looked cool.

Wilson Combat UT-15 was cut and threaded for AAC QD flash hider. Works great. No blow back in this set up.

LTR had barrel threaded, QD break added, SAS TI can timed, tested, AI chassis added, tactical bolt knob added, and probably some more stuff too LOL! I love the tac knob, it is surprising how good it feels. I have not fired with SAS as we are waiting for form 3. Soon I am sure.

I have some more photos coming soon...

This last one is my MP15-22 with sparrow SS. Not sent to Mile High, it was previously done by Tornado Tech who also did a good job.

Re: Got some work done by Mile High

We thank you for the opportunity to assist and glad you are pleased with the work completed. As for the paper copies of the FFL/SOT requirements, yes we are required to have a faxed, emailed or hard copy of these items on file to initiate and complete the Form 3, not just #. On Form 3's you have more to it than just a # and license premise address. My apologies for any inconvenience due to these requirements but we have standard guidelines to follow and we make every attempt to completely inform the customer of all required items. Thank you for the positive and constructive comments, we appreciate them all.

Enjoy and we will notify you as soon as the Form 3 is approved, shipment to your FFL/SOT dealer and should be very soon.

No issues. I am very pleased with the work and wanted people to not hesitate to send you guys some work. Everyone that has seen the guns have been very impressed. I am totally satisfied no doubt. I have some more photos to upload later which also show how good the guns look with cans installed. Awesome job.

Re: Got some work done by Mile High

awesome work! i just sent Stacey an email asking about pricing and lead time. My local smith said it would be too difficult to do the threading and recommended I replace the barrel or get a different pistol.

Understand and no worries. We want to make sure all of our customers are completely informed and satisfied with the work and customer service from day one. We greatly appreciate the recommendations and passing the word by all means.

Raider1v1, emailed you back on your inquiry and we will be glad to assist you as well. They are more difficult true, more time consuming yes, but we can thread the Slab Sides.

The slab side ruger is now one of my favorite guns. If I had it to do all over again, and wouldn't buy the walther and just use this one. The balance, accuracy, quiet action, reliability, no junk plastic parts, are just some of the reasons. It looks cool too. I have some photos with can mounted that I will put on here so you can see what you will end up with. I shot this gun head to head with factory ruger amphibian and they were even. Amphibian has no first round pop, which does come up with sparrow but other than that they were the same.

You should see about doing the slab side thread protector, which is my only regret not trying. Stacey can price both ways no issues.

Re: Got some work done by Mile High

i opted for the slab side protector. i talked with him today and got it sent off via FedEx...cant wait for it to be back!

you should get the volquartsen trigger internals, they make a HUGE difference in how it shoots and it wasn't bad before.
