OK, Ill try to make this a short story:

Background:
Susan (my wife) started shooting sporting clays about 3 months ago after (finally) getting an invite from one of the vendors at her work. She went to the local (very nice) shotgun sports range, Elm Fork Shooting Sports for a lesson.

While getting lessons from the GM / owner there, Jeanie, she and Jeanie become very friendly and we (LineStretch) end up getting a lot of embroidery business from the range.

So, Elm Fork hosted a benefit shoot for the USO, inviting deploying soldiers, and football Pros and such for this big event. Jeanie invited Susan to shoot in the event as sort of the 'token Soldier Mom'.

Well, she and I did 200 hats for the event over the past week. Susan did award plaques for the event that she finished two days ago.

The good part:

Today of all days was the event. The high today MIGHT have been 20 degrees. So amidst Pro shooters, Pro players, news crews, brutal cold, etc, she CLEANS stage one, 10 for 10!! She ended up shooting 56% for a 50 bird course (they stopped at 50 cuz of the cold).

I'm very proud of her!
