Hopefully I will pickup at least this much next week. That will have me set on brass for the rest of the year.

Re: Gotta love friends who don't reload!!

Nope, sorry. I usually just get the LE/Mil standard calibers. I can usually get a personal use supply of .223, .308 and .45ACP.

I just checked tonight and I have another 100 or so in the donation box at the foot of my rack. I am trying to cabbage onto the M118LR brass that two of the guys are shooting through the M110s.

Re: Gotta love friends who don't reload!!

How's the 118 come out for sizing out of the 110's. Do you have to use small base dies or just regular? Most of the stuff I've used is once fired and then gets run through a bolt action the rest of it's life. So far no small bases needed on any of the main three military rifle cases I pick up.

OUCH!...

I hate seeing that much good brass go {{...somewhere...}}??

However, on the flip side for me here it's the four weeks of deer rifle sight in and I get all kinds of stuff. A couple years ago I brought back about forty pounds of brass in various calibers. Odd stuff I reload for. I can't believe a guy with a 1899 .250-3000 throws away two boxes of brass??? So of course it got picked up and is now going through the life/recycling system I have and is currently going through my 1899.

Anyhow, good luck to you with the brass. They shouldn't want it back. Once it's off their hands I don't think they care. Unless of course it was hazmat. But this ain't. No worries.

Re: Gotta love friends who don't reload!!

Well, I got luckier yet this deer rifle sight in. A guy had the 700 Classic in 7x57 (1st year) and left two boxes of that for me.

It's federal so it'll go for my hunting 7x57.
