GPO 10x42 or 10x50 binoculars or range finding binoculars

Anybody have any experience with either of these? I'm really looking at the 10x50 rangefinding binocs as a do all.

Just saw GPO come up on Guidefitter and saw they had the new Rangeguide 10x50, the question is how does the glass in this new rangefinding binocular stack up to say Leica HD-Bs? I know GPO is founded by the Zeiss Sport Optics guy but not sure how their products fair against the big 3 (Zeiss, Swarovski and Leica). They have an interesting lineup.

When you say "alpha quality" are you inferring they are just as good as Leica, Swarovski and Zeiss with regard to optical quality?

I compared their 10x50 HD to a Swaro 10x50 EL and they weren't even close. 1500 more$ for the Swaro's but still no competition.
