GPO TAC 45 Spotter

Hello,


I'm looking at purchasing one of these spotting scopes in the next few weeks - Any opinions on them?

I'm shooting PRS and PR matches often, and would also like to bring it hunting in the hills as it LOOKS small, and might be light? (Don't know).


Anyone have any thoughts on these spotters? The price is right, I've looked through them two times and both looked okay.


Let me know if i'm onto something decent or wasting my time!

I have one. Been running about a year. Pretty hard use. Suprisingly good glass for the cost IMO. Very similiar to a Leupold MK4 but larger. Doug at cameraland had the best prices on them when I bought it. Triad has a nice cover for it. It is not what I would want to pack around. I used Meopta 75 collapsible for that very purpose and something like that is very good for packable, armored and small collapsed with good optics. Have one for sale at a good price vs new on here if you search for Meopta TG75.
