Happy to finally introduce the double 10 round AICS pouch. These have velcro and buckle closure, weep drain at the bottom of the pouch, covered by webbing so water goes out, and debris stays out, 4 rows of MOLLE and bungee cinch for snug fit on individual mags.

I a small pile for sale right now in optics and accessories in Multicam and Coyote.

All completely made in the USA, out of USA made materials. No BS Life time warranty on materials and craftsmanship from Grand River Tactical. Just to be frank, they are slightly more expensive than most and once in your hands, there will be no question why.

Nick,

Nice work, and the price is fair. Wish I had known about these, before I bought my Tactical Taylor 7.62 Mag pouches for my AICS 10 rounders.

Someone posted last month that you were going to make a double similar to mine. Guess I should be flattered. I was out of stock for a long time, so I cant say I blame you Nick.

Similiar in that they hold two 10rnd AICS mags....isnt that some kind of bullshit that you post advertisement for your stuff in the my thread?

Show a little class.

Re: Grand River Tactical double 10 rnd AICS Mags!!!

Thanks for taking my phone call today Nick.

I knew this would be coming last month when I saw that other post. In my eyes the similarities go further than the fact that they both hold two AI mags.

Demand for the Triad pouch was high and supply was non-existent. You had the ability to knock out a design and start making product while my customers and I had to sit and wait it out. That is one of the advantages you have by being able to sew, you are way more adaptable than Triad.

I took out the picture to avoid the issue of me advertising in your thread. I'll leave the rest as a compliment on your flexibility.

Re: Grand River Tactical double 10 rnd AICS Mags!!!

need to put a panel between the two mags so when one is out other isnt flopping around ... either one of you two designers ... it would also allow someone to put padding in the bottom for a 5 rnd mag / mags if they like... which I do for my Tac Tailor 762 Mag Pouches w/ AI Mags.

also by putting the panel in there you would not need the draw string around the pouch...

save some money on material and get rid of the securing buckle... velcro works well ... also consider having the ability to tuck in the pouch cover...

Ive used the old Triad Pouches first ones were way too tight and it was a PIA to get the mags back in to the pouch. I currentlly run Tact Tailor 7.62 pouches ...

Here is my ideal AICS mag pouch or double mag pouch...

take either one of your guys 10rd pouches...

remove the securing buckle and the bungie draw string... just leaving the velcro flap that should be able to fold over on itself to allow the pouch to in a continous open state.

for double mag pouch put in a seperator that is thick enough to keep the two mags hitting each other... ( might require a little bit more depth to the pouch. ) this will also allow you to sell/offer a spacer so you can bump up 5 round mags for proper height in the pouch

sew in a stong magnet to the front, rear, and middle panel of the pouch ... this will allow the magazines to be secure in the pouch with the flap in the ready position. ( ala Tac Tailor Magna Pistol Mag Pouches ) It works very well.

SniperCJ is the person on the hide to talk to for small name tapes, if he will make them for you, I will sew them on for you.

As for the buckles, not all my stuff is over manufactured. i think the buckes are a nuisence, and I dont use them on my own gear, and they can be bought with out them. I dont see a need for them.

As for the 5 round mags. With my 10 round pouches, when securely inserted, 5 rounds in front of the 10 round, I have never had a problem getting mine out of the pouch. The rim on the mags keeps it above the mouth of the pouch, never had a problem, infact, never even imagined making a 5 round pouch because of the ease of use. Fact of the matter is, one 5 round mag and 3 10 rouonders is all I have ever carried to a match, and have never wished I have done otherwise.

But if there is a market for making a 5/10 round pouch, I am already all over it. You will see pics of one by the end of the week.

Thank's for your answer and please let me know when you have them in stock.

4thSeal's idea of a separator to keep the mags from hitting each other would be a great adition.
