Grand River Tactical Gen3 Sniper vest Opinions

I've been in contact with "handgunwilltravel" who makes the vest. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience using one or maybe even a previous gen. of the GRT vests. Share your experiences.

Nick makes good kit. You have to figure out how much stuff you want to load up, if you are going to be in hot climate, match shooting, operational, with plates and tons of gear, or going to keep it lean and mean... it all depends on the mission.

I picked up a Gen I vest last year, and am very happy with it. I use it for both work and matches. The vests and pouches are put together well and the vest fits perfect. I have additional pouches ordered from Nick at this time. At first I was concerned about prone shooting, and the shoulder strap. But I used the rig at a match in January and in 2 1/2 days I never had any issues. Half the time I forgot I had it on!

I have the Gen I that is very well made. The vest is custom made and Nick's CS is very good. With that said, since it is custom made to you and your specs, I would not expect within days of the order.

I have a gen 3. It's well thought out, very well made, and fits well. It's pretty easy to forget it's there.

I've got one I will be using. In just running around the neighborhood with it it is extremely comfortable. Plus with all the Mille attachment points it is completely customizable.
