I got my Gen III and really like it, but I wish it had the promised drag handle if for no other reason it would be really nice to have a convenient way to carry or hang up the pack when not wearing it. Unfortunately I like it way too much to send back and ask for a different one.
The Gen III really is a fantastic combination of day pack and LBE. I'd actually drawn up a doodle of something almost exactly like this 3 or 4 years ago in my little book of ideas but had dismissed it as impractical. I'm happy to see just how wrong I was.

Same here got Gen III, great quality, but also did not come with drag handle and wish it did.

If your interested in the off season, when you can do without the vest, I will add that to anyones vest who reqquests it, that does not have it, I appologize, especially if you specifically asked for it.

FWIW, Ive got one of nicks rigs and theyre the very functional and extremely well built. The addition of molle lets you place additional pouches wherever you wish.
