My son Brad was fortunate enough to win an excellent vest, complete with pouches, which Nick Painter of GRT donated at the Alumni ASC match.
This is a quality rig for competition shooting that has enough webbing to be configured any way that you see fit. It came with 2 AICS mag pouches and 4 multipurpose zip top pouches that provided excellent security items and one worked great for a brass dump pouch On back was a large GP pouch for food, rain gear, larger items or really most snivel gear. Also the vest was supplied with a large water bladder and storage for is came in the form of a large zipper pocket on the back. Quality and workmanship was evident and you have the ability to use any combination of pouches to match the needs of the end user.
Brad replaced his Arktis rig on day 2 with the new rig and at the end of the day he stated that this rig managed the same weight load much better in the lower back and shoulder area than his older rig and he rated it a keeper. Note he is 15, and not a hs/ld operator.

Re: Grand River Tactical

We could tell that he wasnt hs/ld with his belt LOL. Looks like a fine young man though and congrats on having a shooting partner. I wish I could get my dad into shooting with me more. But the days he does shoot with me are some of the best memories.

Re: Grand River Tactical

Thanks for the review John. Don't take anything away from Brad due to his age, he is a phenomenal shooter, and kicked some ass at ASC. You guys have a hell of a team going, and I wish I had someone to het me started in events like ASC when I was 11.

The vest could not have whent to a better guy, I was thrilled he got it and even more that he wore it on day two.

That belt is a sore point when he is on the Les Paul and Taylor!!!! I am going to trash it before serious damage occours.
His "Rock Star" side creeps out.
