My son Brad was fortunate enough to win an excellent vest, complete with pouches, which Nick Painter of GRT donated at the Alumni ASC match.
This is a quality rig for competition shooting that has enough webbing to be configured any way that you see fit. It came with 2 AICS mag pouches and 4 multipurpose zip top pouches that provided excellent security items and one worked great for a brass dump pouch On back was a large GP pouch for food, rain gear, larger items or really most snivel gear. Also the vest was supplied with a large water bladder and storage for is came in the form of a large zipper pocket on the back. Quality and workmanship was evident and you have the ability to use any combination of pouches to match the needs of the end user.
Brad replaced his Arktis rig on day 2 with the new rig and at the end of the day he stated that this rig managed the same weight load much better in the lower back and shoulder area than his older rig and he rated it a keeper. Note he is 15, and not a hs/ld operator.
