I plan on dropping my Bergara B 14 ridge into a KRG bravo or a Grayboe Renegade. One is obviously a stock and one is a chassis, both have very similar ergonomics. My question are there any accuracy advantages between a chassis and a stock? Both have AICS bottom metal so I am set.

I bought my Bravo without handling one in person which wasn't easy for me. I researched the hell out of it, pics, reviews, etc. All said I'm very impressed, especially for the price. I preferred a chassis over a tradition a tradition stock that may have bedding issues. After 2,500+ rounds with my Vudoo/Bravo I have no regrets whatsoever.

The Bravo is quality. Figure out which options and accessories you want though. It's easy to double the price of the Bravo when you add the spigot, adjustable butt, etc.

I had the greyboe ridgeback (I know, different model) with the greyboe DBM kit and I liked it a lot... but I sold it after handling and checking out the KRG bravo and KRG Whiskey. Hopefully will be able to get the KRG bravo this winter and will be dropping my Bergara HMR into that. Fit, finish, feel of the greyboe is good and solid and it required no bedding of my action. I think they are at an amazing price point and have great customer service. Just not for me. You can’t go wrong either way I don’t think. If you like to tinker and change things / gear / setups I would steer towards the KRG stuff. There’s a lot more options and modularity to them. Just my take on it and why I sold my greyboe.

Why not for $100 more , buy a McMillan a3. KRG makes a decent chassis but not for anything really serious or competitive . Ive had both the renegade and Bravo in my hands. I hate to put it like this the grayboe is basically a cheap non solid piece of equipment and is a sub par mcmillan (think Chevelle VS. Chevette), and the thumbwheel looks absolutely hideous and is awkward to adjust on the fly, The KRG is plasticy and shouldnt be on a rifle period, the plastic outer shell feels like a standard A2 buttstock on an ar15. In a nutshell save a few more pennies and buy something quality.
