Grayboe Ridgeback?

A buddy of mine just got one and it's nice. I have a Renegade and surprisingly the Ridgeback is slightly lighter. The cheekpiece is nice and works fairly smooth. And the fit and finish is very good, same as my Renegade. The palm swell is slightly narrower than the Renegade, which is a McMillan A5 clone.
Overall, it's a really nice stock.

Here is my buddy's that he just completed.

What is the difference in quality in these stocks vs. a Boyd's tacticool stock that everybody seems to be using on the savage mkii?

Do you know what action and barrel contour he used?
You know its a bit unknown. It's a Seekins Havak action and barrel. The barrel blank is Rock Creek but Seekins profiles the barrels in-house and I can't seem to get a straight answer out of them about the contour. But based on my measurements compared to a Lija barrel I have, it's similar to a light palma I believe.

Thank you, I’m interested in one for my ARC Nucleus build and trying to find out it my parts will fit before buying one

Interesting, I dig it. I had a Renegade that Accurate Ordnance put together and I surprised by its heft. Felt very solid compared to the Bell and Carlson that I switched from. My only gripe was lack of cheek weld adjustment and the heft of the grip, so this Ridgeback looks like a winner.

Like I mentioned, I have a Renegade and really like it but the palm swell is thicker (it doesn't bother me) than the Ridgeback and the lack of a cheek riser, which in most situations doesn't bother me either but it is nice to have. And it feels slightly lighter to me than the Renegade.
