What's worse, that those books exist, or that adults with kids do such fucked up things which kids don't understand that they need a book to learn how to understand and cope with it?

And "All my Friends are Dead" is not intended for children. It's dark adult humor in a children's book setting, much like "Go the Fuck to Sleep". If someone gives that to a kid, they fall into the above category of another adult who does fucked up things to kids.
