I got this gun from Thunderbolt68 last week and after 5 straight days of rain sitting on it finally got my first good gun rounds down range. Thanks for selling me such an ugly fine shooting stick. Here is a picture of one of the targets. The bullets where 168SMK's. Travis was a great guy to deal with! Also got hooked up on the scope from mastersgt! This is my first introduction to longer range precision shooting and you guys on the hide have been a huge help. MANY THANKS!

Re: Great Gun From Thunderbolt68

Nice rifle and great shooting! Who did the build? I'm curious because I'm looking for a local smith, somewhere between the SF Bay Area and Pendleton.

Was it windy up there as Castaic? Everytime I go up there, the winds are blowing. Will be passing through again this week.

More range reports please.

Stiller chambered it and McMillan did the bed work

Re: Great Gun From Thunderbolt68

Thanks DavidD. I wasn't sure who put it together. But that would make sense. How did you know?

It was a perfect day. Not windy at all. Maybe a slight occasional breeze. Maybe I can blame the jerked shot on the top right on the breeze.........NOT.

I was lucky enough to become a member at the Burbank Rifle and Revolver Club which is about 15mins. from the house and has a 1000yd range. So I will let you know how it stretches out.
