I've had really good luck with Vihtavuori N555 in my 6.5 Creedmoor. This is three shots @ 200 yards. 2760 fps 136 grain Lapua Scenar L.

I loved how it shot I was just not a fan of how much more powder I needed to use than other brands to get the same speeds 40.8 gr of h100v to get about the same speeds as 43.6 gr of n555 around that 2750's + or - 20fps speed wtih a 140 gr projectile or 41.3gr of rl17 or 41.8gr of h4350

43.4 grains, Lapua SRP brass, CCI450, 26 inch 1:8 twist barrel.
Great, thanks. I started shooting and reloading for 6.5CM this year...also using N555 with similar MV as you, and satisfactory results (for me) downrange...I use 43.0 gr, Lapua LRP, CCI 200...sending 140 gr pills out of a 26"-1:8 tw barrel

I've found that my rifle shoots better with slightly compressed loads and SRP brass. I don't mind sacrificing a few grains of powder for repeated precision.

I purchased 8lbs yesterday. My vendor said Capstone is raising prices on all their products before end on this year.

I'm using 43.5gr of N555 with Lapua SRP (CCI #400), Lapua Scenar-L 136gr, COAL 2.854, with great results. I've shots multiple 0.7moa group at 300 meters with a Tikka T3x CTR, factory barrel. Basically, I love the powder, it's very clean and got greats results at very varying temperatures.

N555 is my powder of choice for 6.5 creedmoor. Use 142 smk but will have some scenar-l 136 next week to work up.

If you have some load data for the smks to share ;). The Scenar-L have been hard to get since a few months here, there is 136/139 that pop up in small quantities from time to time though. N555 is always in stock, go figure.

I use 41.6gr n555, lapua lrp brass, fed gmm at ~2.8 coal. Avg velocity is 2715. The 142 smk are hard to find. I also have the 140 smk but better groups with the 142.

Nice group. How far off the lands?
I don't have the measurement anymore, sorry. I used the 'old' tricks of using a dummy cartridge with a projectile seated by hand. Got a rather long seating depth, over max OAL. Loaded some rounds, but didn't notice major improvements in group sizes. Later, in went back to 2.854 for the 136gr Scenar-l. Maybe I should invest in a Lock-N-Load® O.A.L. Gauges.

I use Sellier brass, CCI 200, 45.8gr N160, scenar 136gr@2840 from friends 24" Tikka Tac.

6.5cm is just very easy to get shooting well.
