from what ive heard from multiple people, the birdsong finish in general is a top nothch coating in all categores. Durability and scratch resisance and so forth. You would not regret going with them.

My only beef with it is that the OD finish looks baby shit yellow

THis is incorrect.
It only looks like that in photos taken with flash. In person, under normal light it looks a deep green. The finish is non-reflective and is the finishing choice for TacOps rifles.

Indeed, I am well aware.
That STILL doesnt make it NOT turn out yellowish in pictures sent to others.
As a finish, Birdsong is by far my favorite.
