First does anyone have any first hand experience with it? I'm looking to run it on my 6-248 to see if it will tame it down a bit more to see bullet impacts. And maybe get a bit more sound suppression. Any and all information is greatly appreciated.
The Sportsman UL338 is a sick can... 12.7oz and our taper mount interface. All that volume of the .338 can (8.75" Length, 1.5" OD) should tame your 6-248 nicely.
The Sportsman Ultra Lite .300, Explorr .300, Explorr 6.5, or the Paladin .300 would be great choices as well.
Just curious, but why a .338 can if it's specifically for a 6mm? Even a .30 bore is a bit oversized, I would expect that at some point, the larger bore will start reducing efficiency.
The 338 cans generally give a bit more sound suppression in my experience on the smaller calibers. Also in the 338 range I basically have no caliber to can limitations.
