My recce 5 can has a repeatable POI shift when there’s no pressure built up in the suppressor. It’s consistently high and to the right. Once the pressure builds up, it shoots back to zero and groups. I’ve shot my other suppressor which is an AMTAC and there’s no shift at all on a cold can/cold shooter/cold bore.

My question is for cold shot compensation. If the suppressor causes that shift when there’s no pressure, how do you account for that at distance? Example, I am out coyote hunting and see one 400 yards away. Does that mean my shot will be 4-6” high and right if it’s off by 1-1.5” at 100? Or is it not linear?
