    Here is my version of the DIY grippy cheek piece for a PDC chassis but I am sure it will work well for other cheek pieces

    Step 1-acquire plasti dip spray, I picked mine up from Homedepot

    Step 2-Prep your cheek piece, I roughed mine up with sandpaper and cleaned it with alcohol before coating the part

    Step 3-Coat the cheek piece, I used several coats, allow it to dry 4 hours before applying additional coats

    3M makes a tape intended for stairs that works really well for "grippy-izing" rifle cheekpieces.

    It is rubbery, texturized, and gray. It comes in 3" widths and most good hardware stores (home depot too, I think) will sell it to you by the foot... Runs about $2/foot.

    Takes/holds paint pretty decent too. I had my doubts about it starting to peel, but it doesn't if you scuff up and clean (acetone) the stock before sticking it on.
