GSC bullets

Re: GSC bullets

Lots of guys in the 1000+ section on this forum. They're all turned solid copper, some require very fast twists, the target bullets are designed for flying to the next country.

A friend of mine and I hae been in contact with Gerard Schultz via email and he seems to be an easy guy to deal with, my biggest concern is that all the stuff he would make for me has to float through customs in both SA and the US.

Re: GSC bullets

I have used both their HV line of bullets and currently have some of the SP line of bullets to shoot in my 284 Shehane.

The HV line of bullets are great hunting bullets. I have used them in both 22 and 25 caliber. The 40g HV bullets at 3800fps out of a .223 is pure medicine for Kentucky whitetails. We are 2 for 2 with neither animal going far after being hit. I have also killed a couple deer with the 100g HV bullet in my .25-06 rifle at 3400fps. Again, complete penetration with minimal blood shot meat and dead right quick lethality. They are monolithic bullets with driving bands. I have had very good luck getting very good loads with high velocity and very little load workup. (I greatly prefer these bullets to TSX line of bullets for hunting.)

The SP line of bullets again are monolithic bullets with really high BCs. I have 125g SP bullets to shoot in my 284 Shehane. I should be able to get 3400 fps or so which will handily beat the 180g Berger Hybrid out to 1000 yards with both trajectory and wind drift.

They are also building a factory in the USA which should make delivery of the bullets much faster. See the following link with information directly from the horse's mouth.
