Night Vision Guide TB 630 LRF Clip on vs Athlon Cronus 35CL-640

Good afternoon fellas! I've been eyeballing the Guide TB630 LRF and Athlon Cronus 35CL-640 for Coyote hunting and shooting heat treated steel for night shoots. Just by looking at them I can tell they are both very similarly manufactured but the specs vary a bit. It looks like the Guide TB630 has a 1920x1080 pixel display while the Athlon Cronus has a 1280x960 resolution. Now with the sensor resolution being equal (640x512 @ 12 microns) am I right in assuming that the 1920x1080 screen will be a lot better when optically zooming in? I'm still fairly new to thermal, I have a BAE UTM that I love and works great but I want to buy another clip on. Thanks in advance for any input!

Guide is the OEM for Athlon. Only difference seems to be screen resolution. If you google for the TB630LRF it can be had for like $2000 right now.

They both appear to be decent options, I just wonder would the screen resolution on the Guide being 1920x1080 if it would be better in front of my Trijicon Credo 1-10 or would the Athlon with its 1280x960

I'm only seeing the version with no Pic rail mount for $2k at Bobleisure. If someone found the rail mount version, where at are you guys seeing them for that price? I don't need another thermal, but that would be a fantastic deal.

I only saw the Bob Leisure one. Everywhere else is 3K which is still a deal for that kind of performance.

Looks like they make a $180 picatinny adapter with ADM but i seriously hate the way it interfaces. Then the one they sell with the 1.5" ADM mount is attached via screws in a recess on the ADM mount which is like every other one.
