Looking for ideas. I have a coupon for 50% off any Remington MSRP. What would your choice be. Example MSRP on 870 is 600 or so. On sale @ Gander for 350. Not really a savings but of 50 bucks. Custom Rifles excluded and so are packages. Just looking for ideas. Not looking for ball breaking. By that I mean, I am not sitting here asking for the rifle I need to shoot a 1000 yards, the rifle that the military uses etc. Just looking for an idea. Tacticool or not. Just looking for ideas.

Remington has a centennial edition 1911. Might be a neat collector's piece.
I've always used Remington for hunting rifles and shotguns. You can never go wrong with a 700 rifle or 1100 shotgun.

I saw a Remington 700 with a 20" pre-threaded barrel - I believe it was an SPS of some sort - at a Friends of the NRA drawing. The rep said they were hard to find, but that might be a nice start to either a long range or perhaps even a scout-style rifle.

I might share. If I can't think of something I want, I might but a gun and raffle it off or just give coupon to an active service member. Still in air. Thanks for the thought on the pistol. Appreciate the ideas.
