Gun cleaningfor a tactical 26 inch barrel

Ok out there,
I'm new to long range shooting and want to do it right! I own a Remington 700 XCR TLR in 308 and want to ensure I have the right cleaning equipemnt to keep her shooting straight! Is there A kiit out there to do this or do I need to piece-meal a kit together; including a one-piece rod and bore guide? I've looked online but I thought with the experience on this site I would have a leg-up.

Welcome!

Use a bore guide. Get a Dewey one-piece coated rod.

I use Butch's bore shine and Kroil.

Stick with patches, you don't need a brush.

Actually, come to think of it, you don't need to clean it that often.

Lucas Bore Guide

One piece coated rod

LOTS of patches (2" for 308)

Good Copper Remover (I like Montana Extreme)

Clean it once, don't clean it again until accuracy falls off.
