Gun free 401k!!!

Ok.... we’re gonna hold them to their “ no gun promise” next election cycle when firearms sales soar......

These people value money more than their own “morals”.... and they’ll come crawling back on their bellies wanting a slice of the pie.

I just sold 100% of the Blackrock funds I own.

I watched this kind of tactic used to make Whites surrender power in South Africa. At first I thought it would never work. Today less than thirty years later remnants of the White population are on their knees begging to be murdered at a slower rate while those who brought them there continue blithely along in their land of faeries and unicorns. From that unreal land those evil people continue to exert power and influence in our lives.

Alright please pardon me for running away with the allegory a little. Still the point is that this may be a far more dangerous move than it seems at first. Our enemy plays to win and they do not pardon prisoners.

Gun stocks are historically a snooze. And when they end up in some bullshit conglomerate like S&W or remington, they get smashed. But fuck these dickfaced opportunists at blackrock. An obvious effort to hurt gun companies. I say fuck it and would like to see gun companies go private.

I see Kroger was included in the list. Someone want to explain that to me?
Kroger owns Fred Meyer, kind of a WalMart in the west if you don't know them. They have about the same kind of shitty gun counter too, recently joined the ranks of companies violating the constitutional rights of Americans by prohibiting sales to under age 21 citizens as well as pulling semis from the cases.

Man we have a bunch of hypocrites here. Free market capitalism happening here.
The article did not say anything about Black Rock abandoning gun stocks altogether, but that are offering funds without any business derived from guns. That is great, if some pension fund is insisting on being removed from guns I would rather have them create a fund for them than dump all gun related stocks. Obviously Black Rock thinks the gun stocks are valuable or they would dump them all together.

Black Rock is into making money, not being political. The new funds will NOT derive any revenue from, Walmart, Dicks (can suck it), ruger, S&W and all their companies. sportsmans warehouse. What about Amazon? they sale a lot of accessories.

Let them try, It would be very interesting to watch both funds and in 20 years tell the pensioners that their fund could have had $$$$$$ more.

Hell maybe it will work out for them, but at least it will not affect those that either WANT gun stocks OR just want to make money and leave the political BS some where else.

I disagree. What this is is using capital to attack an industry, by denying capital to that industry. If it works the way it is planed spokes people will go to other funds and demand that they provided similar options. Then they will begin to demand that all funds comply. They will protest and terrify any executive working for a fund managment company that offers any support to our industry. They will attack any bank that allows it's credit cards to be used for firearms transactions. Then they will attack any bank that provides accounts for any manufacture, distributor, or retail store that has any thing to do with guns. How will your local gun store pay his electric bill if he does not have a checking account?

Reduce the size of the industry by 90% then introduction level firearms will cost what customs cost today. Choke of the supply of new shooters and hunters now tell me where the new NRA members are going to come from. These people are not "capitalists" they are dangerous and they are our enemy. By the way what I moved today was my money---and I will put it where ever I want because I am a capitalist, and that does not make me a hypocrite.

I politely disagree at this point. They did not dump gun stocks, but created a product for people who THINK they dont want to be in the game.

About the same as not wanting pickles on your hamburger.

The pot stores have been cut off from most banks due to banks being scared of the feds. Pot stores pay their bills just fine. It will be a $$$ maker for some one. The hypocritical part is we all want a boycott on dicks sports and will relish the day they shut down. But someone plays that game against us and we cry foul.

Again Black Rock did not dump gun stocks. They made a product the derives no income from ANYTHING to do with guns. That is a big chunk of the economy if you count out walmart and amazon.

I am not saying i am not watching though.

I suspect that any disagreement between you and I is rooted in semantically oriented quibbling rather than any matter of substance. I sold small positions in three Blackrock funds. They will never notice my sale, and if they did it would not even elicit a yawn. I'm not saying their is any more to be done at this point. Yet we must see that the left never lets up pressure. Every time the victim of a python relaxes the python takes a little of his room to breath, and the python never gives it back. I do not think Blackrock came up with this. I think some think-tank leftists wonks came up with it and their sponsors (who may be substantial investors) brought the idea to Blackrock. I think it is but one step in a thousand step plan.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Your not wrong in your thought process. I wouldn't say we have a disagreement as much as different view points.

I do not mind if someone does not like guns. That is their right to not own guns. The issue is obviously when they try and push their view on to me. This comes in many forms. Religion is another.

At this point (i reserve the right to change my view point, sans more evidence). I think black rock handled it fine. They created a hamburger without pickles without taking the pickles off my hamburger.

Not much different from someone who lives in New Jersey moving to Wyoming because the gun laws in New Jersey suck. And vice versa someone who moved to New Jersey for more restrict gun laws (as fucked up as that sounds). Neither person imposed their views on anyone else, but took care of the problem regarding their beliefs themselfs.

Person doesn't want pickles, fine. But do not take my fucking pickles.

Your not wrong, probably just 4 steps ahead of me.
