I have used Ken Porter or Porter Precision Products in Lake Jackson. He has built quite a few rifles for Hide members, mine included and they all shoot. For precision rifles, he is one of the best in town.

I.v got a problem with it grouping. I,ve had a new manners stock bedded, action blue printed , barrel cut back 1 thread and matched chambered.

Does he do any cerakoting/duracoating?
That is the one thing my local guy (magnolia area) can't help me with.

Grip Reductions in Tomball now does Cerakoting.

Both Kenny Porter and the guy at Grip Reductions (can't remember his name) are GTG. Kenny builds on hell of a rifle, and he also cleans up in High Power on a regular basis.

Did they just start doing that? I stopped by there in the late summer time and they were only doing duracoat at the tme. I'll have to stop in again because they are very close to where I live.

Yeah, after constant badgering of a couple of us that use him to start using Cerakote, he finally got all the stuff to do it. There is a void in the Houston area for Cerakoters. I think he started to use it in December. From talking to Dale, he is liking it better then Duracoat.

Kenny is getting ready to build me an F/TR gun in .223. Everything he has built has been superbly accurate, reasonably priced, and turned around in a very timely fashion. He's one of the good ones.
