I am looking for a gunsmith in Texas, I had heard of a guy around san antonio by the name of stokes, but I have also heard that he is retiring soon, before I will be able to get the money together to get a barrel made, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend me someone else in texas.

Well I have a remington 700 chambered in a 7mm magnum and I was wanting to have a barrel made probably from krieger and have it chambered in .338 edge and get the AICS stock, so I guess I would need a gunsmith to put it all together and if needed bed the stock and float the barrel, also I live in mcallen, tx

I would definatly be willing to ship to round rock, I would even be willing to go and drop the rifle parts off there and stay until the rifle is done since I have family there
