can anyone recommend a good gunsmith in or near Michigan?
by the way new to the "Hide" although I have been lurking for awhile, gotta say I really like the site.

He isnt in michigan but you could lousianna precision rifles.
I have one on its way to me as we speak and he is one hell of a smith and nice guy.
I sent him my action, barrel and he did a rebarrel and blueprint job including painting with a 2-3 turn around which is real fast work. Here is a link to williams site and he is a member on this forum and goes by the name wnroscoe.

What are you needing done? As far as machine work, there is a local guy in mishawaka Indiana, right near the sw michigan/indiana border...... just chambered and put together a barrel & action for me, very impressive work and was a quick turn around.
