I'm building my nephew an AR-15 with a WOA 16" barrel. He wishes to run a rail that will just barely clear a Surefire MB for future use with a SOCOM suppressor. Will a 15" hand guard allow for his desired amount of clearance?

With a 16" barrel and 15" handguard, there will be 1" of barrel exposed at the end of the handguard. so that will not interfere with any muzzle device he would like to attach.
