Gentlemen,

Please take a minute to vote for Gina Elise. A few years ago she took it upon herself to raise money for our hospitalized vets by developing an old style "pin up" calendar.

She is now entering a contest in Self Magazine attempting to win 10K. If she wins, she can distribute the money through her charity. If you can please vote for her.

Dear Pin-Ups For Vets Supporters,

I hope this e-mail finds you well. Could I please ask for your help for our hospitalized Vets. Self Magazine is searching for "Women Doing Good." The winner of this contest will be able to donate $10,000 to a charity of her choice. If "Pin-Ups For Vets" wins, I would love to be able to donate this money to a VA or Military hospital healthcare program this year. It would mean so much to me if you could visit the website Self Magazine's Women Doing Good to fill out the quick application. I would be so appreciative and you would be helping our Vets. They are going to need some info which I will give to you:

Organization's Name: Pin-Ups For Vets
Mission Statement: To provide funding for Veterans' Healthcare Programs
As a reminder, the project has 3 elements:
1.Raising money for healthcare programs for our nation's Veterans (to date I have donated $35,000 to VA & Military hospitals)
2. Making hospital visits bedside to Vets & Wounded Warriors to deliver donated calendars, posters, shirts to boost spirits during recovery
3. Sending calendars overseas to deployed military to boost troop morale.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to do this. I think we have a good chance to win this!

Pin-Ups For Vets In the News!

Last weekend, both Stars & Stripes and American Legion covered "Pin-Ups For Vets"! I am so thankful to these publications for helping me to get the word out about the project!

Next Hospital Visit & New Item!

I wanted to let all of you know that I will be making another VA hospital visit in the next couple weeks. If you are able to do this, would you please consider ordering a calendar/poster/shirt/etc specifically for a hospitalized Veteran for me to bring on my next visit by clicking here:
www.pinupsforvets.com and going to "Order Now" link.

Please choose "As a Gift for a Hospitalized Vet" from the drop down menu. Your donated gifts always put HUGE smiles on the faces of the Vets I visit! I wish I could fully express to you their appreciation when they receive these unexpected gifts after I walk into their hospital room to visit with them!

Last, but not least, I have added a new item to the website. It's a "one size fits all" removable & reusable custom Pin-Ups For Vets laptop skin! Be sure to order one to jazz up your laptop! Remember that proceeds from these items are donated to support healthcare programs at our VA and Military hospitals!
Thank you all so very much for your continued support of the project. I couldn't do this without my wonderful supporters.
Much love and appreciation,
Gina Elise
XOXO
