H&K Mod 91 A3 Need a bi-pod

I don't see any easy way to get one on it and don't want the H&K solution at HUGE bucks. Without adding complex mounting systems,what can I do? I wouldn't mind a small mounting system to allow a couple of add-ons to the sides.

I like the factory light bipod setup by far over the other solutions. I bet with a little looking, you can find one for about $140ish, not sure on the ProMag?? replicas...but I have seen those locally for about $80?

You may be able to find a PTR aluminum forearm and rail it as you need alternately. A hard to find Knights' forearm would be the collector's win of course.

+1 on the RTG offerings above. Robert is a class-act with whom I have done business for many years. He'll take good care of you.

HOWEVER...if you want a Harris or swivel stud type setup for a similar bipod, there are way to do it fairly easily assuming you have the traditional "wide" HK91 forearm and NOT the slim metal one. If that'd be helpful to you, let me know and I'll post the instructions for you. Its a 15-min job max with the proper Harris adapter and tools.

As for mounting other "accessory rails"...check out some of the aftermarket forearms from companies like JLD/PTR, B&T, etc. that are already railed. There isn't enough room in the standard handguards to allow for mounting other rails.
